MR. Danuchit Nantaamonrat and Miss Wanlada Chaiso, fourth-year students in the Medical Technology Program, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, won the Gold Medal in the I-New Gen Award (Thailand New Gen Innovation Award) in the Higher Education Category – Health and Medical Sciences.

Their award-winning innovation, titled "Quality Control Material for Reticulocyte Count," was developed as part of their senior project under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Suwit Duangmano, a faculty member in the Department of Medical Technology.

The competition was part of the I-New Gen Award 2025, a youth invention and innovation contest held during Thailand Inventors’ Day 2025, which took place at BITEC Bangna, Bangkok, from February 2–6, 2025.
