The Research Promotion and Development Committee of the Faculty of Medical Medical Technology (AMS), Chiang Mai University, successfully organized the 2026 Research Seminar under the theme “Expanding Commercial Innovation Markets to an International Level.” The event was presided over by Professor Dr. Sakorn Pornprasert, Dean of the Faculty, with the primary goal of promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience in developing research and innovation for global commercialization. The seminar took place on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the Alumni Relations Lecture Room, 1st Floor, Building 2, Faculty of Medical Medical Technology, Chiang Mai University.

The event featured a special keynote lecture on “Targeted Health Innovation Development for Commercialization,” delivered by the distinguished guest speaker, Professor Dr. Supanimit Teekachunhatean, M.D. from the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University. He shared his direct experience in translating health research and innovation into successful business opportunities.

On the same occasion, another insightful lecture titled “‘Kha-chao Nano Spray’ Herbal Innovation: Entering the Billion-Baht Domestic and Global Pet Skincare Market” was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Hataichanok Pandith from the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University. The session highlighted the core concepts, product development processes, and firsthand experiences in market expansion both domestically and internationally.

Additionally, the committee hosted a Knowledge Management (KM) session on the topic “Targeted Commercial Innovation Development... How to Go Global?” This session provided an excellent platform for faculty members, researchers, and attendees to exchange ideas and experiences, aiming to sustainably elevate research capabilities for international competition and value creation.
