The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, hosted the annual "New World Within the Blue Fence" (โลกใหม่ในรั้วสีน้ำเงิน) orientation event for the academic year 2026. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Sakorn Pornprasert, Dean of the Faculty of AMS.

The event aimed to help first-year students smoothly transition and adapt to university life, fostering happiness, a strong sense of community, and confidence in their future academic journeys. Held at the Chiang Mai Grandview Hotel, the orientation featured various relationship-building activities and inspiring keynote sessions where distinguished AMS alumni shared their firsthand experiences and insights with the freshmen.
