Professor Dr. SAKORN PORNPRASERT, Dean of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, presided over the opening ceremony of the Specialized Training Program in Medical Technology: Genomics and Precision Medicine 2026 (Batch 6). The event took place at the Clinical Microbiology Meeting Room, 6th Floor, Building 3, Faculty of AMS, Chiang Mai University, on Monday, August 3, 2026.

This 4-month short-course training program focuses on reskilling and upskilling medical technologists to develop advanced expertise in precision medicine. The curriculum covers diagnostic testing, research, and genomic data interpretation. Its key objective is to effectively translate laboratory and research insights into personalized and population-based healthcare for the Thai public.
