The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, hosted a panel discussion titled “Decoding the New Criteria: Path to Academic Titles.” The session featured Ms. ASCHAREE SOMWONG and Acting Sub-Lieutenant NUTTAKORN SASITORN, Human Resources Officers from the Human Resources Division, Chiang Mai University, as guest speakers. The event aimed to enhance understanding of guidelines and preparation processes for academic position applications under CMU's updated criteria. It was held at the Alumni Relations Lecture Hall, 1st Floor, Building 2, Faculty of AMS, Chiang Mai University, on Friday, August 14, 2026.

On the same occasion, an experience-sharing panel titled “Stepping onto the Path of Academic Titles” was conducted, featuring Professor Dr. SAKORN PORNPRASERT, Dean; Associate Professor Dr. SUREEPORN UTHAIKHUP, Head of the Department of Physical Therapy; Associate Professor Dr. SONGYOT ANUCHAPREEDA; and Associate Professor Dr. SUWIT DUANGMANO, faculty members of the Clinical Microscopy Division, Department of Medical Technology. The panellists shared firsthand insights, challenges, practical solutions, and strategic approaches based on their successful experiences in applying for academic promotions.
