Ms. Punnatorn Nurod and Mr. Phurin Kumha, undergraduate students from the Medical Technology Program, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, have been selected to participate in an academic exchange program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Yamaguchi University, Japan, from 12–23 May 2025.
This program is part of an academic collaboration between the Department of Medical Technology, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, and Yamaguchi University. It aims to foster students’ academic and research skills, and to broaden their cultural perspectives through learning and engagement with international students and faculty.
In addition, this year Miss Moe Thi Thi Han, a doctoral student in the Biomedical Sciences Program at the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, is also joining the program. She will conduct collaborative research with professors at Yamaguchi University as part of her Ph.D. dissertation.
This exchange program reflects the strong partnership between the two institutions and represents an important step in advancing the global academic potential of Thai students.
