The Program in Communication Science and Disorders (CSD), Department of Occupational Therapy, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, organized the 2025 Annual Communication Science and Disorders Workshop.

Professor Dr. Sakorn Pornprasert, Dean of the Faculty, presided over the opening.

The workshop was held to equip parents and early childhood teachers with knowledge concerning:

• Language and speech development.
• Executive Functions (EFs) skills.
• Early literacy skills in young children.
• Knowledge about delayed speech (late talking) and how to observe related behaviors.
• Strategies to promote early language and speech development at home and in school settings for young children.

The workshop took place at the Professor Emeritus Dr. Chairoj Saengudom Meeting Room, 12th Floor, Building 2, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
