Professor Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, M.D., Ph.D., President of Chiang Mai University, presided over the opening ceremony of the inter-institutional student exchange project held under the framework of the 2025 Asia-Pacific Alliance of Health Leaders (APAHL) Forum.
The forum's main topic was “Enhancing Community Health and Older Adult Care through Innovations and Technologies.”
Professor Dr. Sakorn Pornprasert, Dean of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, delivered the opening report. The event took place at the Professor Chairoj Saengudom Meeting Room, 12th Floor, Building 2, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
This student exchange project was organized to serve as a vital platform for developing the potential of interdisciplinary students to become health leaders in the Asia-Pacific region. The goal was to foster collaboration and facilitate the exchange of academic knowledge, culture, and experience.
Participants included faculty members and students from the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences and the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, as well as from Mahidol University, Yamaguchi University (Japan), and Deakin University (Australia).
