Ms. Nichanan Kengdecha, a master’s degree student, together with Mr. Peeranut Ngerninta, Mr. Virat Dechakoon, and Ms. Rattaporn Boonchieng, fourth-year students in the Physical Therapy Program, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, won the Gold Medal at the I-NEW GEN AWARD 2026.

The award was received for their presentation titled “BalanceSync+: Precision Balance & Mobility Analysis System for the Elderly.” The project was supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Siriphan Kongsawasdi, Department of Physical Therapy, and Assistant Professor Dr. Kittichai Wantanajittikul, Department of Radiologic Technology, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University.

The competition was held from January 5–9, 2026, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna, Bangkok.
