Mr. Zaw Ye Htet, a Master’s student in the Medical Technology (International Program), Department of Medical Technology, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, was awarded First Prize for his outstanding Oral Presentation. His research, titled "Fc Engineering of a Fully Humanized Anti-CD147 Monoclonal Antibody Enhances NK Cell-Mediated Antibody-Dependent Cellular Cytotoxicity in T Cell Malignancies," was presented at the Thai Immunology Annual Meeting 2026.
The research was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Nutjeera Intasai, Professor Dr. Chatchai Tayapiwatana, and Assistant Professor Dr. Umpa Yasamut, faculty members of the Department of Medical Technology. The conference took place on February 25–26, 2026, at the Ballroom, Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park, Bangkok.
The Thai Immunology Annual Meeting 2026 was a collaborative effort between The Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Association of Thailand (AAIAT) and The Thailand Hub of Talents in Cancer Immunotherapy (TTCI). Organized under the theme "The Translational Immuno-Revolution: From Fundamental to Patient Impact," the event highlighted the vital role of immunological research in driving innovative treatments—bridging the gap between laboratory discoveries and real-world clinical applications to create effective and life-changing health outcomes.
