The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, recently welcomed distinguished guests from Hyogo Medical University, Japan, to discuss future academic collaborations.

Associate Professor Dr. Ratchada Cressey, Assistant Dean, along with Associate Professor Dr. Sureeporn Uthaikhup, Head of the Department of Physical Therapy, and Assistant Professor Dr. Sarinya Sriphetcharawut, Head of the Department of Occupational Therapy, extended a warm welcome to Professor Seigo Minami and Associate Professor Toshiaki Miyamoto.

The visit, which took place on Thursday, March 19, 2026, focused on establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to facilitate student exchange programs between the two institutions. The meeting was held at the Department of Physical Therapy Meeting Room, 9th Floor, Building 2.

During the visit, Assistant Professor Dr. Busaba Chuatrakoon and Assistant Professor Dr. Sauwaluk Dacha from the Department of Physical Therapy, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Anuchart Kaunnil from the Department of Occupational Therapy, presented comprehensive overviews of the departments' teaching, learning, and research excellence to the delegates from Hyogo Medical University.
