The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, recently hosted a technical meeting to evaluate and refine the calculation of Social Return on Investment (SROI) for ongoing research initiatives. The session was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Siriphan Kongsawasdi, Assistant Dean.
Distinguished academic staff and researchers in attendance included:
- Associate Professor Dr. Montree Tungjai from the Department of Radiologic Technology.
- Associate Professor Dr. Supawadee Putthinoi and Associate Professor Dr. Suchitporn Lersilp from the Department of Occupational Therapy.
- The PHPT research team, led by Dr. Gonzague Jourdain and Linda Meritus.
The meeting took place on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the Department of Radiologic Technology Meeting Room, Building 2.
The primary objective of this consultation was to ensure that SROI calculations align with academic standards and rigorous methodologies. Participants engaged in an active exchange of perspectives and recommendations to enhance the analysis of social impacts, ensuring that research outcomes effectively reflect their intended goals and provide meaningful value to society.
