The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, recently organized a special lecture titled "Risk Management and Risk Innovation at Chiang Mai University." We were honored to have Assistant Professor Piriya Cherdsatirakul, D.D.S., Vice President of Chiang Mai University, as our distinguished guest speaker. The session was held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Alumni Lecture Room, Building 2.
The primary objective of this lecture was to raise awareness regarding the importance of collective participation in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). The session aimed to foster a concrete "Risk Culture" within the workplace, encouraging staff to integrate risk considerations into their daily operations.
Furthermore, the Vice President shared key concepts and principles that serve as a practical framework for developing and refining the Faculty’s Risk Register. This strategic approach ensures that risk management is implemented effectively, aligning with the university’s goals for sustainable innovation and excellence.
