The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences (AMS), Chiang Mai University, recently organized the 2025 Academic Day. The event was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Weenun Bundithya, Assistant President of Chiang Mai University, on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Activity Area and the Emeritus Professor Dr. Chairote Saengudom Meeting Room, Building 2.
The event served as a premier academic platform for fourth-year students across all four departments—Medical Technology, Radiologic Technology, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy—to present their senior theses through both poster and oral presentations. Notably, all academic communication and presentations were conducted entirely in English.
To further enhance the international standards of the symposium, the Faculty collaborated with four prestigious overseas partner institutions, whose students joined our students in the oral presentation sessions:
- Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia
- Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia
- Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), Singapore
- University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, Vietnam
This initiative was not only a showcase for senior research projects but also a strategic effort to create an immersive learning environment. It successfully fostered English proficiency and promoted concrete academic communication within an international context, preparing our graduates for the global healthcare landscape.
