The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, recently organized the "Faculty Development Program on Curriculum and Instruction for Academic Year 2025" on April 2, 2026, at the Alumni Relations Lecture Room. The program featured guest speakers Asst. Prof. Dr. Nampueng Intanate and Dr. Nawaporn Chalarux from the Faculty of Education, who provided faculty members with intensive training on learning measurement and evaluation under the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework. This initiative aims to align instructional strategies with modern educational standards, ensuring that teaching effectiveness directly translates into measurable student learning outcomes.
Parallel to the workshop, a collaborative panel discussion titled "Process and Mentoring System for Timely Graduation" was held, led by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Sakorn Pornprasert, alongside department heads and senior faculty members. The session facilitated a vital exchange of experiences regarding the role of thesis advisors in supervising and monitoring student progress. By strengthening the mentoring system, the faculty reinforces its commitment to supporting students in completing their research and achieving timely graduation, thereby maintaining the academic excellence and efficiency of its diverse programs.
